Notice to Maine Residents – Your Rights under Maine's 2019 Internet Privacy Law
If you are a Maine resident, you have certain rights, pursuant to the 2019 "Act to Protect the Privacy of Online Customer Information" (or the "Maine Privacy Act"). The Maine Privacy Act requires Internet service providers to take reasonable security measures to protect a customer's personal information and prohibits providers from using, disclosing, selling or permitting access to a customer's personal information unless the customer provides express, affirmative consent to do so, subject to certain limited exceptions. Further, a provider may not refuse service, charge a penalty or fail to provide a discount based on a customer's decision to provide or not provide such consent. For subscribers to our services, Fidium uses, discloses, sells and permits access to personal information only in accordance with the methods set forth in our Privacy Policy. Users of our Sites may opt out of certain targeted on-line advertising or delete or refuse to accept cookies as further described in our Website Privacy Policy.
