Last Thursday at Vermont State University-Johnson, representatives from Fidium, the Vermont Community Broadband Board and the town-appointed representatives who oversaw the project with Lamoille FiberNet gathered to cut the ceremonial ribbon.

Otter Creek Communications Union District (CUD) celebrated the completion of fiber expansion in partnership with Fidium Fiber during a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, October 29. Otter Creek CUD was named an official Gig Community during the event, with towns where fiber expansion was completed being named Gig Towns.

Fidium Fiber has expanded its symmetrical, multi-gig speed internet service to Guilford, Maine, making its future-proof fiber network available to more than 800 homes and businesses.

Fidium Fiber is expanding its all-fiber internet network in Ossipee, Center Ossipee, Freedom and Effingham, as well as parts of Tamworth, Tuftonboro and Wolfeboro, bringing multi-gig speed service to more than 9,000 homes and businesses in the communities.
